DONOR SPOTLIGHT Mary and Steve McPherson, in the Village

August’s donor spotlight is on  Mary and Steve McPherson , who have made a recurring annual gift to Sedona Public Library in the Village for four years, exactly as long as they've lived in Sedona.“We've always supported the library where we live,” Mary said. The McPhersons, retired, fill their days with gardening, working out, and cooking. “When I worked as a geologist, I never had time to cook!” Mary laughed. But they always have time to read and are library patrons. They love the convenience of Sedona Public Library in the Village. “It is wonderful to not have to drive to West Sedona to pick up a book,” Mary said. They admire our expansive collection and how the Yavapai Library Network truly maximizes library resources. “Everything I’ve ever looked for has been right there." Consistent support from patrons like the McPhersons bolsters our ability to keep our resources accessible and reliable. Thank you, Mary and Steve! We do it all for you, and we couldn’t do it without you.

Your Gifts at Work TumbleBooks Brings Joy of Reading to Local Kids

TumbleBooks  are animated, talking picture books that teach kids the joy of reading in a format they'll love.  Our annual subscription makes this resource available in Youth Services, as well as extending free access to schools across Sedona including the Sedona-Oak Creek Unified School District and Sedona Charter School.
