A Message from the ISBT President - Why You Should Attend BevTech 2024

Dear friends and colleagues,

We are just a few weeks away from our Annual BevTech conference. Since joining ISBT, 13 years ago, and attending my first conference, this has become a ritual for me, and I plan my trips and work agenda around it.

Within ISBT, it is the same. Our year is planned around this event. Years in advance, we secure the venue. We invest time and resources researching industry trends, discussing with experts, connecting with our network, and leveraging learnings. Then we design the program, and, of course, this is done with our volunteer members, Board of Directors, Technical committees, staff structure and speakers. As with our members and their companies, we strive to be customer-centric, and the program is designed with our membership at the center, understanding they are making an investment and need to see great return on that investment.

So, let's discuss the 2024 BevTech conference and why you should attend. I’ll make it easier for you to decide and you can use these points to explain it to your boss if you are still waiting for authorization.

New for 2024, in an effort to continue to grow and expand our efforts we have developed some new programs for membership and support. One new program is to offer our supplier members the opportunity to enhance their support of ISBT’s mission and programs.

This new program will allow our supplier members to contribute to the ISBT’s efforts and raise their profile to our members of the global beverage industry. The program will highlight these companies for an entire year as well as at our annual event, BevTech International.

BevTech 2024 - Technology Expo & Networking Reception

Monday, May 6, 2024, 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. at the Rosen Centre

The BevTech Technology Exposition & Networking Reception will highlight suppliers to the beverage industry in a relaxed networking environment. This event will be held Monday evening following the closing of the business meeting and the Technical Committee meetings of BevTech® 2024.The entire evening is structured to allow networking opportunities and will be enhanced with food and beverages served in the exhibition area.

Setup can take place from Noon - 5:00 PM on Monday, May 6. Please have your booth ready to go by the time doors open at 6:00 PM on Monday, May 6, 2024.

Tear down will take place after the event on Monday, May 6, from 9:00 – 10:30 PM. All booth materials belonging to exhibitors must be removed from the booth by 10:30 PM so that this event space can be prepared for Tuesday morning. Please refer to Rosen Center Shipping Instructions for specifications on sending and receiving materials for your booth.

The Rosen Centre Orlando is located at 9840 International Drive, Orlando, FL 32819. The resort is located just 13 miles West of the Orlando Airport (MCO). The average taxi-fare is $30 and takes about 12 minutes from the airport to the hotel. While the hotel does not provide complimentary shuttle service to the airport, Uber and Taxis are available from the airport.

Self-parking at the resort is $28 (plus tax, per night, per vehicle). There is also a valet option available, which is $40 (plus tax, per night, per vehicle.)

New This Year - BevTech 2024 App on CVENT

New this year, ISBT will be using the CVENT app for BevTech 2024. The CVENT App is available for both Apple and Android phones.

1. On the App Store or Google Play Store, download the "Cvent Events" app
2. Once you have downloaded the Cvent Event app, open it up and search for BevTech.
3. Once you have downloaded the app, you will be prompted to enter an event ID. If you are registered for BevTech, you will receive an email with app download instructions, including the event ID.

Once you have downloaded the app and logged into your account you will be able to:

• Stay up-to-date with announcements and event reminders
• Get full access to the attendee list -- don't forget to set up your attendee profile (and add your picture!)
• Message and set up meetings with attendees
• View the complete agenda (including meeting locations) and set your schedule
• Plan your Technology Expo experience 

Remember, we will have NO paper schedules or lists during the event. The app is the only way to access this information. 

BevTech 2024 Golf Tournament

The 2024 BevTech 2024 Golf Tournament has been revamped this year. Set to take place on Sunday, May 5th, this year's tournament will feature a revamped format/structure at a world-class golf course, Arnold Palmer's Shingle Creek Golf Club.

Professional Headshots Available On-Site

Do you need a professional headshot for your website or LinkedIn profile? Maybe you just need to freshen your headshot up. Whatever the reason, ISBT will be providing on-site headshots to any attendee who would like to update their professional headshot. The time for this service is TBD but stay tuned to the BevTech App for more information on-site!
