Betz Art Foundry and Gallery is showcasing a new painting each month by artist Lori Betz.  This months featured painting is "New York Series II" featured above. This abstract oil is full of energy and dynamic color. The showroom is open tue-sat 10am to 3pm and by appointment and the featured art work can be seen there. The showroom features contemporary paintings and sculptures in all mediums.

The showroom is located at the Summer Street Warehouse in the Arts District. We will also be hosting several exhibitions this year featuring local and international artists. When you visit Betz Art Foundry you can watch artists working live and see demonstrations of how the process works.  The second saturday of each month is also the Artist Open Studio Art Walk in the Arts District and patrons can visit three warehouses of artist open studios, so look for our emails and also pass them onto your art loving friends. 

March, Sat 14th ART WALK
Here's one of our favorite parts of this newsletter. Each month, we'll be showcasing two emerging artists to watch. Each month on the Second Saturday all three warehouses in the Arts District, Winter Street Studios, Spring Street Studios and Summer Street Warehouse,  open their doors for an open studio art walk.  This month's featured artists at Summer Street Warehouse and Betz Art Foundry, will be Richard Eastman and Rozi Turnbull.

 Richards' art work is
inspired by nature.  His studio is his backyard and covered patio that is surrounded by a nature. He will be showcasing pottery as well as paintings.

   
 
Rozi's art work strives to achieve certain freshness , inviting the viewer to visually trace where each stroke leads, and where they can follow, adding their own connection and experiences.

Art Walk starts at 10am-5pm and feature live artist demos all day long.

Artists reception is from 5pm-8pm and will
feature food, drinks and music while you meet the artists.
