Get ready for fair season with North Central Electric

Fair season is right around the corner, and we're excited to see you at the local fairs! North Central Electric will be present as the Day Sponsor at several upcoming fairs. If you have questions about your bill, energy efficiency upgrades, or solar, stop by the NCE booth. We will be happy to assist you. And don't forget to grab your NCE goodies while you are there!

May outage report

NCE experienced 13 outages in May, the longest lasting just over two hours. After crews patrolled the line, they found two broken cutouts that needed to be replaced.

When the outage is not obvious, our crews may have to patrol the line to find any damage to co-op equipment. During these cases, you may see a potential problem before our crews. If this happens, please report what you see to the

co-op whenever possible because it can sometimes help pinpoint the exact cause or location of an outage and allow the crews to restore power that much faster.

Welcome to the co-op! Logan Hicks joins NCE

NCE is excited to welcome Groundman Logan Hicks to the cooperative team. Logan joined the co-op on June 24.

In his role, he will assist the line crews and complete training at COLT.

Another successful year for Member Appreciation Day at Cedar Point

We hope everyone had a blast at this year’s Member Appreciation Day event at Cedar Point! Despite the threat of rain, over 2,000 members and their families celebrated with us and enjoyed a day of family fun at the lake.

Talking with all of our members throughout the event, whether about electric vehicles, energy efficiency, or simply what being a co-op member means to them, is a big part of why we host this event. We hope you all enjoyed your time as much as we did!
