Partners in Creating Inclusive Housing

Thank you to The Kelsey, our partners in creating inclusive housing. We Are Up was invited to tour their Ayer Station housing in San Jose and participate in a design focus group with residents, potential residents, and families. The Kelsey has actually written a book about design inclusion, and their projects all have an "Inclusion Concierge" to assist residents. We feel honored to have The Kelsey as a partner.

Old Town and Southwest Rotary Clubs

For the 5th year, the Old Town and Southwest Rotary Clubs have come together to put on a night of camaraderie, competition and celebration to support a non profit chosen for impact in the community. We Are Up was not only invited to play some fierce Yahtzee but was invited back to receive this Big Big check for $20,000. Thank you to the Rotary Clubs for their support!

Celebrity Chef Dinner at the Fieldbrook Winery

Building Community is at the heart of the We Are Up vision. Bringing people together to support and enjoy life with a diverse group of friends and neighbors keeps us all feeling happier and more engaged. It is heartwarming to see how so many in our community and beyond have recognized the need for We Are Up and are helping in so many ways. Together we can make a difference in so many lives.

Thank you Kay Johnson who purchased the Spooktacular auction item of Guest Celebrity Chef Dinner for 12 at the Fieldbrook Winery. It was truly a night to remember! The meal began with vintner Judy Hodgson pouring Prosecco and later each course was enhanced by wines from their special “library collection”.

Celebrity Cheesemaker Mary Keehn served an assortment of national and international award winning cheeses and accompaniments. Celebrity Chef Claudia Lima tossed a beautiful walnut, blueberry, and feta salad with fig dressing.

Celebrity Chefs Chris and Fatima Naylor were the stars who outdid themselves serving 60 days dry aged rib-eye steaks grilled with tri-colored fingerling potatoes and corn. The meal finished off with a fantastic cake from Toni's Restaurant.

Thank you Kay and all your guests for supporting We Are Up!

SAVE THE DATE!

For your chance to bid on this year's auction items, add the 3rd Annual SPOOKTACULAR to your calendar. Friday, October 25th at the Blue Lake Casino!
