SPS United: Gena Simon, Parents as Teachers Administrative Assistant at Shady Dell ECC.

"I enjoy my job working for Springfield Public Schools and want it to be reflected when I greet the families with a smile, a friendly face and voice. I wish to make each family feel comfortable and welcome. I treat them how I would want to be treated and how I would expect to be treated.  I want the families to know that I am here for them and will use available resources to help work through this milestone for their kiddos.

I’m an administrative assistant, and I know my work is important -- but so is the work of other administrative assistants, too. I’m proud to be a part of Team SPS."
