September Classes and Events

Youth Lock-In | September 22 | 6:00 pm

Open to all youth in 6^th-12^th Grade, our annual lock-in is a great way to learn more about the church building and get to know other teens at Bethesda. It’s also a great opportunity to eat lots of pizza and snacks, watch movies on our giant screen in the Parish Hall, and stay up way too late playing ping pong. Blessing of the Animals

Sunday, October 1 @ 10:00 am

In celebration of the Feast of St. Francis, we invite you to join us at 10:00 a.m. for our annual Blessing of the Animals. We encourage you to bring your pets to the service for them to be blessed.

PLEASE NOTE: There is no Sunday School during the 10:00 am service due to the Blessing of the Animals.

Little Way Communion Class| September 13, 20, & 27 | 6:45 pm

On Wednesdays, September 13, 20, & 27 our Little Way Class open to all K-5^th Grade children will be learning about the sacrament of communion. We’ll talk about the spiritual meaning of the bread and wine, go over a child-friendly history of the practice, and learn how communion works at Bethesda. If you have ever wanted your child to learn more about the role communion plays in our life together at Bethesda, then make sure to come for this three-week course on Wednesday nights. No advanced registration is necessary.

Middle Way Family Nights

6:45 pm | Nursery

Nursery Care is available for all children age 4 and under. The Nursery opens following dinner at 6:00 pm. Each week we have free play in our beautiful Nursery space. We end with a brief candlelight service in the church at 7:45 pm. No advance registration is necessary to participate.

Little Way | Wednesdays |

6:45 pm | Sunday School Hall

Little Way is open to all children from Kindergarten through 5^th Grade. The class meets on the Sunday School hall following dinner at 6:00 pm. Each week we have fun crafts, games, or movies. We end with a brief candlelight service in the church at 7:45 pm. No registration is necessary to participate.

Bethesda Youth Group | Wednesdays | 6:45 pm |

Youth Room

The Bethesda Youth Group meets on Wednesday evenings in the Youth Room. We begin with dinner at 5:45 pm and end with prayer in the church at 7:45 pm. In between, we have great conversations and fun games. The group is open to all youth in 6^th-12^th Grade. No registration is necessary to participate.
