Sam Schneidman's Bar Mitzvah

Saturday, June 8, 10:00 am

Hello, my name is Samuel Schneidman, and I’m becoming a Bar Mitzvah on Saturday June 8th.  I have just completed 7th grade at Gulf Breeze Middle School, where my favorite subjects are math and science.  Currently, the sports I play are tennis and basketball.   I like hanging out with my friends, riding scooters around my neighborhood, going fishing at the pond, and recently I started playing pickleball.

For my mitzvah project, I decided to help animals in need. I chose to collect supplies for the Pensacola Hotel for Dogs and Cats, which is a local animal rescue and adoption center.  All the staff there are volunteers, and they have shared with me their Wish List for the specific supplies they need most.  There will be a collection bin at Temple Beth El for your contributions. If you’d like to make a monetary donation instead, you can go directly to their website. Thank you for considering donating supplies in support of my Mitzvah Project.

I hope you can join my family and me for my Bar Mitzvah service on Saturday June 8th, and please stay afterward to enjoy a Kiddush luncheon.  I would like to thank Rabbi Joel, Mrs. Andrea, Mrs. Renee, and my mom and dad for helping me get prepared for this special day.
