Just one final update and thank you message to let you know how grateful we are for all of Julianne's Rett Heroes!
It's hard to imagine having a more loving, caring and generous group of family, friends and community than the one we have been blessed with! Mere words cannot express our heartfelt thanks for your support of our fundraiser for the International Rett Syndrome Foundation this year and in past years.
Because of your generosity, Julianne's Rett Heroes 2023 Fundraising Page exceeded our goal again this year with $76,455 so far, and altogether the 14th Annual Florida Strollathon has raised over $147,000! We are all humbled by the incredible love and support we have received. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
Because of your support:
- We now have the first-ever FDA-approved treatment for Rett Syndrome that not only mitigates the symptoms but impacts the core of the condition.
- Not one but two gene therapy clinical trials underway to address the root cause of Rett Syndrome.
- Families have renewed hope for their loved ones to do more, struggle less and live to their full potential.
Please know that when a cure is found (hopefully very soon), you will have been a special part of this amazing achievement that may even open the door to cures for other neurological disorders!
Rett Syndrome Awareness Month is over, and this year's Florida Strollathon was a successful and fun event, but we will never stop fighting for all of our silent angels around the world until our ultimate goal of a cure is reached. If you would like to help, there is still time.
