Socktober Acts of Kindness
Last Sunday, a heartwarming mitzvah unfolded during our joint Socktober program with NCSY and the Medallion. Our dedicated students and seniors from the Medallion came together to collect and pack socks for the homeless, spreading warmth and goodwill throughout our community. What made this day truly special was the bond that formed between our students and seniors, who found joy in each other's company while making a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. As the program concluded, everyone gathered to recite Tehillim, offering our prayers and support for the state of Israel, its brave soldiers, and those held in captivity. It was a day of compassion, connection, and shared purpose. Thank you to everyone who participated in this wonderful event.

Shape Your Learning
In an imaginative and hands-on approach to learning, EC3A embarked on a creative journey through Parsha Lech Lecha in Morah Sandy's class. Through the power of shapes, they discovered the key messages in the story. For instance, they explored Avraham's decision to leave his idol-worshiping father, Hashem's command, by crafting suitcases from squares and rectangles. To highlight Avraham's respect for others' property, they created a muzzled sheep using an oval shape. And when learning about Avraham's promise of countless descendants, the children embraced the symbolism of star shapes, representing the multitude of children he was promised.
