Our new-to-RMBA middle school students enjoyed taking a tour of our Magical Forest this week, highlighting the Judaic signage and Biblical themes found throughout campus.

Students in Ms. Ruben's 8th grade English class worked in groups on thematic integration of a TED talk and class novel.

In correlation with Parshat Lech Lecha, Morah Aviva's ECE4-A class focused on transportation this week. Since the word Lech means “to go” they learned about methods of transportation, discussed different types of vehicles, and even did an experiment on velocity! The class also had time to continue their alphabet with the letter “Ee” and formed the letter with their bodies. They ended off the week with the Alef Bet letter of the week: Daled!

Students in Ms. Ruben's 6th grade English class worked on annotating a short story as it was being read aloud online in preparation for a reading response assignment.

ECE2 students in Morah Tsippi's class made welcome signs in honor of Parshat Vayera in art to help them learn about the Mitzvah of Hachnasat Orchim, welcoming guests, like Avraham did.

Every day, students in Ms. Schneider's 1st grade class do a different physical movement to count out the number of school days. Pictured above are the students "swimming" out 36 steps for the 36th day of school. They are eagerly counting towards 100, at which point they will celebrate.

Students in Morah Rinat's 4th grade Hebrew class enjoyed taking advantage of the cooler weather earlier this week and taking their lessons outdoors. The class learned all about the new Fall season, researching and then exploring outdoors.
