The Spring Career Fair is an excellent opportunity for students to meet face-to-face with on- and off-campus professionals seeking talent and ready to talk with students about the businesses and industries they represent. Students can come away from the fair with an interview or job opportunity, so they are encouraged to bring their resume.
Summer Supplement (Financial Aid) Form Available Starting Today
The Summer Supplement form is available, starting today, for any students attending summer courses. For information and the form, visit Summer Aid | Idaho State University.  

The awarding of summer session financial aid differs in certain respects from that of the fall and spring semesters. Pell grants, other grants, and loan programs may be available on a very limited basis, but aid is still available, and students should consider applying immediately

Important note: Students must submit a 2022-2023 FAFSA by June 30, 2023, to be considered for Summer 2023 federal financial aid.

March Wellness Opportunities
Suicide Loss Support Group
Losing a loved one to suicide can be a profoundly painful and isolating experience. The complexity of the emotions can feel overwhelming, and survivors often struggle to know who to talk to, fearing that others won’t understand. This group offers an opportunity to engage in discussion designed to help participants gain greater understanding and support. This group will be meeting from 4:00-5:00 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month. Register here

Good sleep hygiene? Yes, it’s a thing! And it can be a key part of personal and academic success! March 12-18 is National Sleep Awareness Week, and our CATS folks (Counseling & Testing Services) are ready to talk you to sleep. Visit their table on March 16 to learn about good sleep practices and pick up a free sleep kit while you’re there. 
Events in Celebration of Women’s History Month
Women's Shared Experiences in the Professional and Academic Worlds with Toni L. Carter
Thursday, March 2, 4:00-5:30 p.m.
Pond Student Union Little Wood River Room, Pocatello Campus
Join us for a panel discussion led by Toni L. Carter, energetic Chief Inclusion and Collaborator Officer for the Idaho National Laboratory. Other guests include researchers, professors, and students from ISU. This event will be streamed via Zoom for our satellite campuses. The cost is free, and a light meal will be provided for registered in-person attendees.

Women’s Macramé Key Chain Craft Event

Throughout history, women have gathered to make crafts together and enjoy the sense of community such moments generated. To celebrate Women’s History Month and honor this tradition, the Gender Resource Center invites students, staff, and faculty to join them for a macramé key chain craft event in the ISU Craft Shop.

Free Access to Therapy Groups for Students
For many of the life concerns that college students face, group counseling is one of the best treatments available, offering a safe and supportive place to receive support and the benefits of peer interaction. The ISU Counseling and Testing Service (CATS) offers a variety of small (5-8 participants) weekly groups in order to meet the various needs of the diverse students they serve. Benefits include learning with others facing similar issues, practicing new skills in a safe environment, improving self-awareness and social skills, enhancing self-esteem and acceptance of oneself and others, and more.
