CONGRATULATIONS!

2024-25 Teacher of the Year

Congratulations to Mr. Quentin Grant on being named the 2024-25 Teacher of the Year! He was nominated and chosen by his peers for this honor. He will compete at the district level next.

North Greenville University

On-Site Monday

Representatives from North Greenville University will be available for students to talk to at lunch on Monday, March 4th. Students can ask questions and find out more about this school.

GTC Parking Tickets

Please be reminded that the green parking spaces in the college lot are reserved for college faculty parking. Students should only park in the white spaces. GTC has been ticketing student cars parked in green spaces for a $50 fine. Please park in the correct student spots in order to avoid a parking violation and fine. 

SAT Testing on March 13

SAT testing (for juniors) is scheduled for March 13. Students who signed up to take this test will get an email from Mrs. Lanier later this week with testing details and testing locations. Please be on the lookout for this email.

Are You Curious About AI? 

On March 5th Hope Meares will present AI Simplified for Parents and Families.  In this session, we will explore several aspects of Artificial Intelligence including what is generative AI, how parents and families can use some of the popular AI tools, and how we can support our Brashier students in regards to AI. 

Hope Meares is a Brashier school board member, parent of a BMC graduate, and a Digital Learning Coach in Anderson School District One.

GTC 13th Year Meeting

Reserve your spot for the GTC 13th Year Meeting! This meeting will take place on March 28th at the Main (Barton) Campus in room 102 from 5-7 pm. Lucky's Catch Fish and More Food Truck will be providing food for everyone at the event. Students and parents will be able to meet and talk with GTC Programs and Services as well as play games with the Student Life Department. This is a great opportunity for any junior or senior interested in learning more about the 13th year opportunity.

Logging Parent Service Hours

Don't forget that Brashier parents need to complete 36 hours of service a year per family household. We keep track of all parent service hours this year through MyFoodDays. Please watch the Logging Parent Service Hours video to see how to input and keep track of parent service hours. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs Furr. 

Slideshow of Service Opportunities

Check out the service hours slideshow for the latest service hours opportunities. Students must have 50 hours per school year. They turn these in to their Enrichment teacher as they earn them. If you need a copy of the service hour timesheet, click here.

Important Reminder for Athletes

Please remember to pay Athletic Fees and Insurance. You can click the GoFan link below to pay online. Fees are $135 for the first sport and $50 for the second.

The Link Crew is Brashier's orientation committee for incoming 9th graders.  Link Crew applications will be available beginning Monday, March 4th.  If you are a rising junior or senior and are interested, please see Ms. Kraft at the front desk for an application.
