Soup’s on, and it's free: WNAB is back this Wednesday!

Wednesday nights will be much more than another school and work night this fall at Belmont UMC. Wednesday Nights at Belmont (WNAB) will feature an engaging line-up of activities and returning food partner, The Nashville Food Project (TNFP).

Nonprofit TNFP will provide soup and salad each week, starting this Wednesday, August 28. All are welcome, and we mean all – please invite your neighbors, friends, co-workers. Dinner is FREE, but donations will be accepted . . . and NO RESERVATIONS necessary. Dinner will begin at 5:00pm and end at 6:00pm. Make plans to join us!

Breathe, pray, move

Do you notice your mind racing? Are your shoulders tense? Are you rushing from one thing to the next? Is your jaw clenched right now? Pause. Place your hand on your heart. Inhale. Exhale. Relax your shoulders. Smile and feel your face relax.

If you enjoyed the 10 seconds it took to notice, breathe, and relax your body, then join us in Parker Hall for an extended experience of breath work, prayer, and movement led by Kara Lassen Oliver. On Wednesdays, beginning September 4, from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm, this session will offer accessible movement for all, with a suggested donation of $10.
