Maylee was diagnosed with heartworm. She finished treatment and will be ready to go into her forever home in early July. Maylee loves to be touched and held. It's time! Pets Pals 2017 is a great opportunity for kids ages 8-14 yrs of age that are just
too young to volunteer. It is a Hands on Humane Education Program where kids will learn
shelter/home animal health care, pet grooming techniques, dog training/agility,
and animal safety along with snack time. Start time is 9:00AM and goes until 12:00 PM, the cost is $25. Please
register with Bellwether to hold a spot, we limit the class to 20 students. Class is only one day, and our first class is June 21. There is still one more yet! It is August 23rd. Call for more details- 231-924-9230

RFR 2017 was a huge success! We raised close to $9,000 to help the animals in our care.
|
|
Bellwether has held Run Forrest Run for over 13 years. 2017 marked the 2nd year that we actually had a 5K trail run. More people (and dogs) entered the race then the year before, and we have learned so much. We hope to continue RFR 5K and have it become a big event in our community and West Michigan.
