ADVENTURE BEGINS AT YOUR LIBRARY!

Rise and shine, campers! Your summer reading adventure is just around the corner. This year’s summer reading theme is Adventure Begins At Your Library and our camp counselors (AKA the library staff) are getting the campsite (AKA the library) prepped. The adventure kicks off on Saturday, June 1^st from 2:00 - 3:30 PM with Camp BCPL, where campers of all ages can make crafts, listen to live music, and sign up for Summer Reading.

Kids 5 and under can join us for Sensory Adventure on Wednesday, June 5^th from 10:30 -11:30 AM. Scoop, stir, squish, and more as little campers use their senses to explore fun materials!

Tween campers become tween Demi-Gods for a day at our Camp Half-Blood on Friday, June 7^th from 2:00 - 3:00 PM. Tweens in 3-6^th grade can celebrate all things Percy Jackson with crafts, activities, trivia, and even a scavenger hunt! 

On Saturday, June 8th, Big Time Bubbles brings bubble fun to the Galleria lawn with music, beach balls, and bubbles for days. Wear your swimwear and pack a towel, goggles, and a change of clothes. Kids 6 and under are encouraged to come from 10 - 11 AM and kids 7 and older are encouraged to come from 11 AM - 12 PM. 

Have you ever read the Choose Your Own Adventure books? Kids in grades 2-5 can choose their own adventure on Tuesday, June 12^th from 2:00 - 3:00 PM. Make fun choices based on outcomes and see where your adventure leads you!

Marshmallows, bubbles, crafts, Demi-Gods – and that's just the first week! We've got so many adventures planned for you this summer, we can't wait to make memories and have fun together. 

And don't forget about the best part of summer, all the reading! Sign up to log your summer reading and win great prizes with Beanstack. Kids log their minutes and earn a prize entry for every 500 minutes they read for a chance to win awesome toys and gift cards. (Patrons can start signing up for Beanstack on May 24th, but won't be able to log minutes until June 1st).
