Are you looking for a girl with all the wisdom of a middle aged hound but the get up and go of a young basset? Then don't settle for the rest - allow me to introduce myself - my name is Bess! I had been shuffled between a few different rescue groups before I found CBHR. I can't tell you how thankful I am to have found the kind people here, but I really want a permanent home of my own. I'm 9 years young, I like kids, I like cats, I like dogs, I ESPECIALLY like kibble, I like sleeping... heck I like just about any and everything and I'm pretty sure I'd like you too! I stay on the move; do you like to walk? I enjoy investigating and I always take time to stop and smell the roses. In true basset fashion I always stop to receive those fantabulous belly rubs. Oh yeah, that's the spot! Outside of those activities, I just want to be your constant companion. Aren't you ready to settle down and give me a warm, loving home? Let me commence to just a simple life of relaxing and pondering... and put an end to all this wandering, ask for me - Bess! I'm much obliged..
