Make Sure Your Student’s Immunizations

are Up-to-Date!

State law requires children to be immunized against certain vaccine-preventable diseases or have a valid exemption to attend school in Texas. Depending on your child’s grade level, updated immunization records may be necessary for your child to start the 2024-25 school year. This is most likely to impact your child if they are entering kindergarten or seventh grade.

Immunizations are available through your health provider or clinic, and the Grayson County Health Department is offering low-cost immunizations throughout the summer. Sherman ISD will also host vaccine clinics in July and August in conjunction with Passport Health/Staying Healthy Medical Services.
