Donation Tiers

All donors will be entered based on drawings based on their donation amount.

Tier 1 $50-$250: 5 Autumnfest Wristbands (5 Winners)

Tier 2 $251-$1,000: Breakfast with Mrs. Garza and Father Guadagnoli (1 Winner)

Tier 3 $1,001 +: 1 week Free Dress for the students in the winner's family (1 Winner) (Free dress guidelines must be followed & no Free Dress on Mass days)

Carpool Reminders

  1. Early morning drop-off begins at 7AM! There is no supervision before 7AM. Please do NOT drop-off before 7AM.
  2. Pre-K students in Gomez and Wright's classes must use the Walnut Hill lane closest to the school for morning carpool. Please pull up to the door where you turn to exit carpool. Staff will direct you.

Tuesday, August 27th K-8th All School Mass @8AM to celebrate St. Monica's Feast Day. Students are required to wear their dress uniform on Mass days.

School Picture Ordering Info

We are using Impressionist Portraits this year and they work a little differently than Lifetouch.

Please be on the lookout for an email from Impressionist Portraits with your child's proofs and information about ordering photos.

Bearcat Wall of Fame

If you had Bearcat Wall of Fame photos hanging up in the school last year, they are ready to be picked up in McManus.

No school on Friday, August 30th, and Monday, September 2nd!

24-25 Parent/Student Handbook

Please review our updated handbook for the 24-25 school year. All parents are required to complete the signature pages at the end of the handbook and will receive a copy of the signature pages at Back to School Nights. Signature pages must be completed and returned to Homeroom teachers no later than Friday, September 6th!

Work of Heart Nominations

Work of Heart is looking for “the unsung heroes” who are going the "extra mile" in serving our educational community and its members. The Work of Heart Award program recognizes full-time employees of Pre-K, elementary, middle and high schools in the Catholic Diocese of Dallas.

Spirit Store During Lunch

Spirit Store will be in the cafeteria on the first Thursday of every month. Mark your calendars for Thursday, September 5th.

Parents are welcome to send $$ with their children on these days. Spirit Store will have several items available for purchase, like keychains, stickers, straw toppers, bracelets, and much more!

Best Book Club Ever
Students will have a great time reading books they like while boosting lifelong skills.  Build interest and confidence in reading while exploring genres, exchanging ideas, and enjoying exciting activities!
Chess Club (K-8)
We are excited to begin registration for this year’s chess program for Fall 2024. The Knight School will be leading St. Monica’s chess team this year. Our SMS students will be learning the royal game and enjoying themselves!
Drama Kids (K-5)
We are excited to have Drama Kids International return for the 2024-2025 school year. Drama Kids International will be offering programs for K-5th grades. Students will develop important confidence-building skills that will help them personally and academically.

Bearcat Bots

The robotics club aims to instill STEM education through hands-on Robotics experience. The study of Robotics will incorporate three pillars of STEM - Think (think of ideas on how to design a robot efficiently)Do (build a robot & operate), and Test (test solutions and compete).
