Winter Break Food Box Donation (Repeat)
The Redmond community and Nourishing Networks are partnering again to collect food donations on December 19 for families in need. These families may experience extra stress and insecurity during Winter Break with two weeks without access to free/reduced school lunches and Hopelink's Food Bank closure. Your donations will have a significant impact on the well-being of children and families in our neighborhood. Please pledge your donation now . If your family could benefit from a food box, please contact Steffany Black at sblack@lwsd.org or 425.936.2440.

Staff Holiday Feast
The Holidays are coming up this month and it's time to show our wonderful RMS Staff how much we appreciate all they do for our kids. RMS PTSA and parents will be hosting a buffet luncheon for the staff on Thursday, December 19. We need volunteers to bring food, set up, serve, and clean up to make this happen! Please SIGN UP to volunteer or bring a dish to share.
Science Club Weekly Sessions Cancelled
The Science Club weekly sessions are henceforth cancelled. The teacher, Ms. Aruna, will not be able to host the last 3 sessions on December 10, December 17 and January 7. The attendance and level of attention of the students has also been minimal making the sessions not very effective. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The Science Club will try and revive the sessions in 2020 with a different plan provided we get enough volunteers to host the sessions.

RMS Coat and Gift Card Drive
The RMS Coat and Gift Card Drive will be held through Friday, December 13. This drive can help address needs in our community. Coats can be any size to meet the needs of both adults and young children. Gift cards to multipurpose stores such as Target, Fred Meyer, in smaller denominations, from $10-20, are most useful as they will be divvied up to all the families. Collection boxes will be placed in the RMS Main Office. Thank you for helping to support the needs of our community.
Final Yearbook Sale (Repeat)
2019-2020 RMS yearbooks are $35 and can be purchased at the Attendance Office until December 13, from morning thru C Lunch (12:50 PM, Wed:12:30 PM). Pay by check (payable to "RMS") or exact amount in cash. Yearbooks won't be sold at any other time during the rest of the school year.
