!! All staff returned to VIM on Monday, June 15, 2020 with much excitement to get patients back to the clinic. We have been
very busy providing tele-health services
with over 1429 calls since the middle of March, 2020. Many of those preliminary calls required follow-up medical care, counseling, case management, emergency dental care and free medications.
VIM opened as the
only full service, full time FREE clinic
in northeastern Pennsylvania and still remains twelve years later. We do not charge for services. Eligible low income patients are working, receiving unemployment compensation or actively looking for work and uninsured or underinsured.
Every year on the Friday of Father’s day weekend, VIM has an annual Gala with proceeds to help
support clinic operations-keeping the doors open to the community
. We had an amazing concert planned under the stars at the Irem Temple Pavilion for Friday, June 19, 2020. We had no choice but to cancel that event, but we can still all be together under the same stars. Join us on June 19th for a
night of reflection
. Take a walk, have a picnic, dance, or sing. Whatever your choice,
realize that your donation will help those that have experienced extreme difficulty during this coronavirus pandemic.
