Support Your Immune System
  • Keep your immune system healthy by getting plenty of SLEEP, nutrition, stress-relief, and exercise.
  • Wash your hands with soap and water or an alcohol-based hand sanitizer (contains at least 60% alcohol) if soap and water are not available. Wash your hands frequently, for at least 20 seconds, and certainly after sneezing or before/after touching your face or a sick person.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when coughing or sneezing, if you are ill
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • Avoid contact with others who are sick.
  • Do not travel while sick.
  • Flu Shots are still available.
For the latest information on COVID-19, see the UHS Coronavirus page.

February Health Campaigns - Recap

Healthy sexuality is an important part of overall wellness, and means more than just sex, condoms and STD testing.  It involves feeling informed and empowered to express your sexuality in a way that is consensual, respectful, and informed, and-ultimately-personally enriches your life. Learn more about Sexual Health Care at Tang and make choices that work best for you.

Eating disorders (ED) are a common problem on college campuses and approximately 4,000 Berkeley students experience EDs. Eating disorders have to do with food relationships and/or the way we feel about our bodies. You don't have to have an ED to want to have a healthy relationship with food or your body. And if you have an ED, it's ok. You are not alone.  Speaking with one of our dietitians at drop-in is free and you're welcome to talk to them about any nutrition questions you might have.
Spring Break Reminders

From March 23-26, UHS will have limited service for Spring Break. Please see our after hours page for assistance when we're closed from Friday, March 27 - Sunday March 29. Make sure to schedule appointments and refill necessary prescriptions before leaving.

If you have concerns about traveling during spring break, see our Coronavirus Travel page for the latest information and recommendations.
