HOF Increased to $200
The Health Opportunity Fund (HOF), a set of funds available to Pell Grant and Dream Aid recipients for Tang services and prescriptions, has been increased from $110 to $200.

Connie Sobczak of The Body Positive Will Speak at Tang on March 1!
In honor of National Eating Disorder Awareness Week, Connie Sobczak, Co-Founder and Executive Director of The Body Positive and author of Embody: Learning to Love Your Unique Body (And Quiet That Critical Voice)! will speak at Tang on Friday, March 1 from 12-1pm. Registration encouraged. Open to all!
Connie's talk, Embodied, will focus on how to create a world where people value their unique identities and are liberated from self-hatred so they can optimize energy and intellect to make positive changes in their lives, communities, and beyond.
National Condom Week
National Condom Week begins Monday, February 11 and runs through Friday, February 15. UHS' Sexual Health Education Program (SHEP) has organized a full schedule of events during the week including workshops on safer sex, STI's, and hygiene, tabling with free safer sex supplies, and an info session on how to become a UHS Sexpert!
Time's Up, Bears: Stand up to Sexual Harassment
UHS Health Workers launched the Times Up, Bears campaign last year to help stimulate positive culture change and foster a campus environment free of sexual, dating, and domestic violence as well as sexual harassment and/or stalking.

National Eating Disorder Awareness Week begins Monday, February 25 and runs through Sunday, March 3. Tang dietitians have a great list of events to help spread awareness including free drop-in nutrition counseling, food and body positivity tabling, and a body positivity speaker event at Tang (see tip #1 above)!
Safer Sex Supplies are Cheaper at Tang and in Wellness Vending Machine!
Are you looking for safer sex supplies (condoms, birth control, Plan B, etc)? Don't forget that Tang offers these items at discounted student prices regardless of insurance. Additionally, the new Wellness Vending Machine in the RSF has a variety of safer sex options (as well as cold care items and school supplies) available whenever the RSF is open.
