How do same day appointments work?

eTang is on a same day appointment model. This helps significantly reduce cancellations so there is more appointment access for students overall. Appointments for the next day are released by the hour starting at 5pm the day before. 

For example, i f you'd like an appointment on Thursday, April 4th at 8am, you would check eTang on Wednesday, April 3rd at 5pm or check at 6pm for an appointment at 9am.
New Insurance Carrier for SHIP 2019-2020

UHS received input from student leaders and campus stakeholders in the selection of our new SHIP insurance carrier, Blue Shield of California insured by Wellfleet Student. 

Our new partners offer innovative healthcare technology, plan customization, and dedicated customer service. Current benefits remain effective through July 31 with Wellfleet Student beginning August 1. Check out the SHIP 2019-20 Benefits!
New Nutrition Drop-In Counseling at the RSF

Have a quick nutrition question you'd like to have answered? Stop by the RSF on Mondays and Tuesdays from 3-5:30pm to meet one-on-one with a registered dietitian for guidance on healthy eating.

How to get help when you can't make it to the Tang Center 
      • Medical Help: 
      • Mental Health: see a counselor at one of our satellite offices or video chat through Live Health Online
      • Nutrition: we have several drop-in nutrition counseling locations.
      • Student Parents: talk to a counselor at Be Well at B North on Tuesdays from 4-5pm.
