A Word From Our President | |
Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce Day
is observed annually on the third Wednesday in October. Since 1882, the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce has been the premier business leadership organization providing value-added services to all members of the Bay Area business community and beyond. The primary objective of a Chamber is to strengthen local businesses of all sizes. One of the best ways you can assist us on this mission is to use the services of local chamber businesses...basically, "shop Chamber members first".
This year, Support Your Local Chamber Day falls on Wednesday, October 19. We would love to have you join us at our Eye Opener Breakfast to hear Sam Fitzpatrick from the Bay County Historical Society share the history of Hells Half Mile. We may also have a few other spooky tricks up our sleeve!

My name is Cody Strope, I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 12 years, we have 2 very active boys. Brody will be 11 next week and Keller is 8. We have a 4 year old labradoodle Lux, and a 6 year old goldfish that was won at Auburn Cornfest by Keller when he was 2! We are quite certain that fish will outlive us all……………
I have been at Wanigas for a little over 3 years and have loved every minute of it! I was recently promoted to Assistant Branch Manager of the Bay City Branch and I am very excited for all the opportunities that this journey will bring.
When I am not working or running the boys to practices and games, you can find me at a campground, on the golf course, in my pool, basically outside in general! Family is EVERYTHING and I love spending every spare second I have with the.
I am honored to become an Ambassador for The Chamber. Community involvement and building professional relationships is something I have always wanted to venture in and now seems like the perfect time!
