Battle Road named an "All American Road"

The Battle Road Scenic Byway was recently awarded a Federal "All-American Road" designation from the U.S. Dept of Transportation, Federal Highways Administration. Classification as an All-American Road provides the highest-level national recognition and awareness for roads with archeological, cultural, historical, natural, recreational, and scenic qualities.

The Battle Road Scenic Byway stretches through the towns of Concord, Lincoln, Lexington, and Arlington and traces the route of British troops as they retreated back to Boston on the afternoon of April 19, 1775.

Winter Lecture

COVID-19 may be keeping folks at home this April but it has not dampened our Patriot’s Day spirit! This year Minute Man National Historical Park is pleased to announce the formation of the April 19th History Coalition! This is a collaboration between Minute Man National Historical Park, Concord Museum, Lexington Historical Society, Arlington Historical Society, Minuteman Media Network, and Revolution 250.

We are teaming up to bring Patriot’s Day to life – virtually! Programs, ceremonies, and living history demonstrations will be offered through Minute Man National Historical Park's Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram accounts. You can follow all the action with the hashtag #VirtualPatriotsDay.
