Christopher Garcia is a seasoned Business Development Specialist at the SBDC, located at UNM-Valencia Campus Workforce Training Center, where he has excelled since 2015. With a solid educational foundation comprising a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's in Public Administration, Christopher has been an invaluable asset to UNM since 2011, serving in various capacities within the institution. His expertise spans both the public and private sectors, with a keen focus on supporting solopreneurs and home-based businesses. Drawing from his own entrepreneurial journey, including selling on platforms like eBay and Etsy, Christopher specializes in startup resources and offers comprehensive guidance in areas such as Google My Business, business research databases, and business planning.

The New Mexico Small Business Development Center (NMSBDC) Network was established in 1989 through a partnership with the US Small Business Administration, the State of New Mexico, the New Mexico Association of Community Colleges, and the New Mexico Association of Independent Community Colleges. The NMSBDC Network State Office is located on Santa Fe Community College campus.
