It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of Louis Capecci z"l (Gesher 2000). He is survived by his wife, Miriam Hoffman Capecci (Gesher 2000), two daughters, Grey Annabelle and Isla Star; his sister Sara Capecci Dollar (Todd Dollar) (Gesher 1999); and brothers Stephen N. Capecci, DO (Gesher 2002) and Daniel J. Capecci, JD (Lindsay Forman Capecci) (Gesher 2006). He is also survived by his parents, Phyllis M. Perkins, MD (Nathaniel H. Wiesenfeld, MD) and Louis F.J. Capecci, MD.
Louie was a mainstay at camp, and his joy was infectious. He had a big heart and could always bring a smile to his edahmates and campers. Whether he was playing hockey, bouncing a basketball, or just hanging out he was always simultaneously serious and goofy. He was dedicated to his family — including his beloved wife, who he met at camp, and his children — as well as his job, where he served as Honolulu's only pediatric cardiothoracic surgeon in a 2,000 mile radius, saving countless lives of children and adults with congenital heart conditions.
Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral service on Sunday, March 17, at 1:00 p.m. at Congregation Beth Israel, 2501 Shore Rd, Northfield, NJ 08225. Interment will follow at Beth Kehillah Cemetery, 6687 Black Horse Pike, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234.
Please consider making a donation to help Miriam, Grey, and Izzy put the pieces of their shattered world back together.

May Louie's memory be for a blessing, and may his family and friends be comforted among the mourners in Zion.
Sincerely,
