The Croissant Inside the Brain
The Legendary Manual Therapy of Jean-Pierre Barral, DO, MRO(F), RPT
Peter Schwind presents an exciting story which includes case studies by Jean-Pierre Barral that seem almost too incredible. The author tells about the exciting paths that Barral has gone down to finally end with the question of whether healing with hands is at all possible. And is it even possible to touch the brain through the cranium so sensitively that it finds a new life? A new life made possible by that which experts call the neuroplasticity of the brain.

New Manual Articular Approach;
Cervical Spine
By: Jean-Pierre Barral, DO, MRO(F), RPT and Alain Croibier, DO, MRO(F)
Barral and Croibier explore the “hidden” imperatives that influence vertebral biomechanics. What else might constrain joint play differently from how it is described by the standard laws of vertebral behavior? With an innovative approach, the authors apply their systems model of the vertebral column to the complexities of the cervical spine. It is not enough to intervene on the inter-apophyseal level alone, one must take neural, vascular, muscular, ligamentous, dural, and other systems into account.

Visceral Manipulation Dissection (VMD)
It is not with your eyes that you see, it must be with your fingers.”
– Jean-Pierre Barral
|
Judy Russell, RPT (left) and Peter Coppola, PT, RYT, BI-D (right) are co-instructors of the Visceral Manipulation Dissection classes. As teachers, they strive to enhance your 3D understanding of the anatomical relationships in the body. Your participation will inevitably help you to see with your hands.
Learn how to gradually expose the layers of fascia, neurological and vascular tissue as well as all of the organs. Then, you will have the opportunity to touch the tissue and experience the different densities, textures and depth of each organ and fascial layer.
This class enables you to fully translate what you can feel, and "see" with your hands.
