Wear comfortable clothes, shoes, bring water and a yoga mat if you would like to meditate on the floor. This class is made possible by grant funding from CHNA 27. Instructor is Kay Outwin.

Model A Ford Club of Cape Cod
Oct. 12, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. RSVP-Free
In 1958, the Cape Cod Antique Car Club was the only car club on
Cape Cod. Most of its members were owners of Model "A" Fords, several of whom were also members of the Model "A" Restorers Club of Massachusetts (MARCOM). In 1962, the Model "A" Ford Club of Cape Cod sought, and was granted affiliation with the Model "A" Ford Club of America as a chapter, and with the Model "A" Restorers Club as a region. Some of the Club's founding members were Richmond Bell of Wellfleet MA, Don Harding of Mashpee MA, and Bill Westcott of Chatham MA. All are still very active members of the Club today. The Club is fortunate to have many dedicated members like these men, who have owned, driven, and maintained Model "A"s not only for years, but for decades. They also have members who are new to the hobby, including one who just bought his first Model "A" in 2016. We have members who own one Model "A", some who own more than one, one who owns 12 Model "A"s, and a member who owns no Model "A"s at all, but who is still very interested in them. Come to the Barnstable Senior Center to see these beautiful antique vehicles and meet the owners. Rain date is October 14.

AMP helps older adults and boomers build their own playbook for aging well. It is a fun, innovative, and person-centered education program that empowers participants to embrace their gift of longevity by spending more time each day doing things that are good for themselves and for others.
