Pictured is Moreen Sharp, BWA Women's Department Director, with Kalesi. Kalesi benefitted from a BWA Women's Department grant to Lydia's Sewing Project, which teaches women to sew as a means to make income. She utilized the training she received to launch a sewing business, and, along with a friend, created the pictured conference bags for the Baptist Women's Union of Southwest Pacific Quinquennial Conference in Fiji in August.

Join us in thanking God for the diversity of this beautiful country and the spread of the Gospel even to the remotest regions of the nation.
Prayer:
Join us in praying for an end to tribal fighting, as well as resources to meet the needs of youth who are at risk for gang violence and sex trafficking.

We also pray this week for God's work among the people of American Samoa, Cook Islands, French Polynesia, Kanaky, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu.
November 4th is the Baptist Women's World Day of Prayer when women all over the globe join in prayer.

The celebration of this special event has been underway throughout the weekend and will continue throughout this month.
On behalf of Baptist women everywhere, we thank you for holding your sisters up before God!

Pray for members of the BWA Team as they attend the Baptist General Association of Virginia (BGAV) Annual Gathering, lead a pastors' gathering in southern Virginia, USA, and share in one of the workshops about embracing the future of the global church.
A Prayer from Fiji

Loving God, provide a voice for our struggles.
Provide extra paddles to bring us together.
Grant peace to our hearts, our ears, and our eyes
to forgive and to love our neighbours and our enemies.
O Lord, give us a chance to redeem the Fonua*
and to reclaim paradise.
