WE'RE *FINALLY* TAX EXEMPT!
|
And it only took three years....!! Thanks to all who have provided an assist on our journey; it's been a long road, but worth it. Watch for big things to happen, with high velocity, in the coming months. In the meantime, please consider a cash or in-kind donation; we are in need of professional services (accounting, legal, etc.) to establish ourselves all legal-like. Thanks again for your support.

WELCOMING NEW BOARD & STAFF
|
Ray George, admin/writer of the popular Columbus Rides blog, is the mad genius behind many of Columbus' best cycling experiences:
Ray brings to the board marketing & social media, event planning and fundraising experience, not to mention a healthy dose of dry wit (!), and we couldn't be happier to have snagged him. Thanks to Ray for agreeing to serve!

BIKE MONTH, MAY 2011
|
Our Bike Month Community Calendar is now up! Some events have already been added, and you can add your own without even the hassle of registering. Get your event up early for maximum exposure! The Bike to Work Challenge is back in 2011, this time for the entire month of May! The site will be ready for new registrants in April--if you registered last year your information is still there, all ready to go. In the meantime, check out the profile of our Challenge on the new national Bike to Work website.
Yay Bikes! is also partnering with Wild Goose Creative for Bike Month festivities that provide a provocative look at the intersections of cycling + art + everyday life. The flagship event will be our Pinchflat Poster Show on May 14, a full day of fun and limited-edition $30 bike posters by local artists.
The deadline to submit a poster design for Pinchflat is April 15!
