Hello Ken,

Flipping the calendar to September means the first month of school is in the rear view mirror. I hope everyone finds a few moments to recharge over the long-ish holiday weekend.

Let's get to the updates:

• Welcome Dr. Bryan Johnson! Dr. Johnson officially began his tenure on Monday, August 5 and has already visited more than 50 of our schools. Check out his 100 day plan here.
• September Board Meeting: Tuesday, September 3 at 2:30 pm. Work session topics include a review of the district preschool program, ERP implementation, and of course, a progress monitoring update. The complete agenda is here.
• Already planning for graduation? Dates are set for the class of 2024-25 to walk the stage at McCamish Area at Georgia Tech. The complete list is here.
