Ashley Nock will teach Foundations of Algebra, Algebra II, Foundations of Truth
(9th Grade), History of Christian Thought (11th Grade), and co-teach DE Old Testament/Judeo-Christian Ethics (12th Grade ) withRev. Bergquist. She holds a BS in Education (Math) from Baylor University and a MA in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary. Since 2019 she has served as a Math
Teacher at
The Amazima School in Uganda, East Africa. Ms. Nock is a Colorado native and an alumna of Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
Lisa Venz will teach Spanish II, III, IV, and AP Spanish joining Mrs. Ward in the Spanish Department. She holds a BA in Spanish Language and Literature and a MA in Curriculum and Instruction from The University of Maryland, College Park. She has taught Spanish at Eagle County Charter Academy (2012-2022) and Colorado Mountain College (2009-present). Mrs. Venz lives in Frisco and has two sons – Kyle (Summit High School) and Tyler (Colorado State University).
Anne Veratti will teach two Resource classes, DE American Literature (an in-person class that is in addition to Mrs. Cooper’s hybrid course), and serve as Testing Coordinator (AP, SAT, PSAT, ACT, PreACT, etc.). With this part-time role, she will still maintain her private practice tutoring and administering academic evaluations. She holds a BA in English Literature from Loyola Marymount University, a MA in English Literature and Creative Writing from Temple University, and a MS in Special Education and English Language Acquisition from The
University of Colorado, Boulder. Mrs. Veratti has held teaching and administrative positions at Vail Mountain School (2013-2021) and St. Clare of Assisi (2005-2013). She is married to Rob and they have three adult children – Drew, Luke, and John. We’re thrilled to have them join the VCHS Team as we all work together to equip mind, body, and spirit for lives of purpose, service, and leadership!
