Back from An Enchanting Musical Journey Through Southern California
Endless Summer was alive and well in Southern California this week, a welcome climate after epic ice storms in Portland. The trip was a magical blur, playing music in Indio at Little Street Music Hall and The Night Owl in Fullerton, visiting with old friends and making new friends, and touching toes in Joshua Tree National Park.
Live at Little Street Music Hall in Indio, CA - home of Coachella and Stagecoach Music Festivals.

Started by two brothers, this venue is still up and coming, providing a unique and beautiful space for original musicians to perform in the area.
Joshua Tree is peppered with musical lore. Of course, we all know the U2 Album named after the National Park, but did you know?

The Joshua Tree Inn is the resting place for songwriter Gram Parsons and just down the road from Rancho De La Luna, a recording studio frequented by folks like Dave Grohl, Queens of the Stone Age, and Iggy Pop.
Live at The Night Owl in Fullerton, my former musical stomping grounds from my early college years.

I was humbled by how many of my lifelong friends came out and overcrowded the little patio for my performance.

Have you ordered your Tour Notes yet?
Receive a personalized postcard from my musical adventures. I have a few spares from my trip through Joshua Tree and plenty of stops in the PNW Wonderland coming up, including the Washington Coast, Seattle, and Oregon Wine Country. My tour dates are constantly updated on my website.

The next BandCamp Friday is Feb 2nd, 2024!
Did you know? While buying merch from an artist is a great way to support 24/7/365, it's especially helpful to indie musicians on BandCamp Friday. On the first Friday of the month, BandCamp waives their share of the revenue and gives it directly to the artists.
BONUS: A Magical Musical Moment in Twentynine Palms
I had a truly magical moment while playing the song I wrote for Week 4 of 52 Song Club.

As I sang a line about birds called Phoebes singing at sunrise, a bright blue hummingbird popped into my face (almost literally).

The desert is an enchanting place, and I think I’ll carry the magic of it with this song for a long time.

See this little creature greet me and catch a snippet of the new song on my YouTube Shorts!
I always miss Clementine to the max when I leave for even for just a few hours or a day trip.

Luckily, this week, I got to spend lots of time hanging in the sunshine with this floof named Rascal.

He's just about the cutest and sweetest guy you've ever met. What other furry friends will meet along the road this year?

Hope I see you soon!
