"Black Tailed Devils"
2010 | Winner | Cuban Eagle Film Festival
2011 | Official Selection | Fly Fishing Film Tour
A decade in the making, Black Tailed Devils is a one-of-a-kind fly fishing movie; the first dedicated to capturing the pursuit of permit on film.
With an array of reel-searing runs, cursing anglers, pole-throwing guides, and a lifetime's worth of tailing permit, Black Tailed Devils, like no film before it, captures the insanity and exhilaration of chasing permit on the fly.
"First permit movie of its kind."
- Chris Dombrowski

"The Best of Catch Magazine"
Anglers go after Golden Dorado, Steelhead, Sailfish, Snook, Browns and Rainbows all over the world.
Four talented videographers from around the globe contributed their work, including Catch video editor Todd Moen, whose "Apline Bass" received the 2009 Drake Flyfishing Video Award for Best Cinematography.
"Todd Moen films and edits the most creative, action packed and stunningly beautiful fly fishing videos in the world.
Todd travels to amazing fly fishing destinations, like Chile, British Columbia, Mexico and many others. Then, with an artist's eye, he wraps the great fishing around an interesting storyline that brings out the relationship with the angler, their environment and why we all enjoy this sport so much."
- Fly Fisher Girl

|
"Digger: Portrait of a Bamboo Fly Rod Maker"
For over 50 years, Francis Degere has been making bamboo fly rods in his Adams, Massachusetts home.
"Digger," as he is known, spends 100 hours handcrafting each split-cane rod from a single culm of bamboo. His skills and techniques are revealed as he teaches the craft to his apprentice, Fred Moran, thus passing on the torch to the next generation.
Shot in documentary style, this film is more than a document of a man and his craft, more than a how-to guide: it is a tribute to a way of life and work that is vanishing in our modern mechanized world.

The Humble Fisherman joins Jake Markham for an unforgettable Bull Trout journey into a place very few people ever set foot.
Filmed in Alberta.

New Zealand is famed for its sight fishing and spooky, trophy brown trout.
Like fly fishing anywhere, there are exceptions to every rule.
If you have the time to wait for conditions to optimize, take the time to learn the cycles and patterns of trout and their prey, and get a little lucky, those impossible trophy brown trout start to resemble cutthroat trout of North America - happily feeding, gullible, and seemingly never to have seen a fly fisher.
Big fish on the prowl, hunting cicadas the size of your thumb earmark this video that details a long day of hiking into a remote, back country New Zealand river.
|
"Fisherman's Fall"
One of Canada's best known fly-fishermen, essayist Roderick Haig-Brown, demonstrates the art of salmon fishing in the Campbell River of northern Vancouver Island, against a background of early autumn foliage.
The film, like the fisherman, has eyes for more than the river's surface. The camera looks below, showing what the fish sees and the fisherman senses.
A film of solitude and of harmony with nature.

"Off The Grid"
2011 | Official Selection | Fly Fishing Film Tour
15 Locations
2 Years of Filming
Our crew traveled to a variety of locations to film anglers and fish that, for us, were off the beaten path. In essence, we tried to avoid as many of the "Big Name" waters, hatches and fishing grounds as we could. We visited a few regions that are by no means off the beaten path, but we show a different side of them.
"Off the grid is everything you want in a fly fishing movie. It truly captures the soul of the sport, the solitude and the quest for new water." - Fly Curious

|
"Tapm"
2010 | Best Fishing Film | The Drake Film Festival
With fly rods and float tubes in hand, the cast of
''Tapm: A Fly Fishing Journey'' travels to a very remote and pristine location in Central America to chase trophy tarpon.
This extraordinary film features incredibly crazy footage of big tarpon being hooked and landed from dangerously small float tubes, as well as camp life, rain forest wildlife and interaction with indigenous people in beautiful surroundings.
"I can see why this film has won several awards. There was some very cool footage in this film and it makes me rethink my winter plans. I really think these guys have raised the bar on tarpon footage..."
- Maine Fly Fish

"DVD's are cool but nothing can compare to seeing something on the big screen with a couple of hundred cheering fishermen" - Nick Reygaert, Gin-Clear Media
