BUSC Newsletter

September 15, 2023

Hello, BUSC! We are happy to be in the thick of our fall season - comp and rec teams are playing every week and our players continue to develop on the field under the guidance of our amazing coaches!

Huge shout out to all of our staff, coaches, managers and volunteers who all dedicate their time and resources to making this whole experience possible.

Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. See you on the field!

Tevin Jones, Director of Club Operations, tevinjones@busc.org

Kevin Crow, Technical Director, kevincrow@busc.org

One of the goals for the Ballistic United Soccer Club has always been to create the best possible learning environment for the players to be able grow, both as a player and as a person.

In order to provide the best path for the players to develop is to put the best staff in place to guide the players as they move through the program.

"The club has always prioritized and has been successful building a very experienced technical staff,” said Kevin Crow, the Executive Director of Ballistic. “I would rank our current staff as one of the top youth soccer club staffs in the country.”

We feel we have succeeded in that area and wanted to share some of the accomplishments of our talented staff!

Players and parents alike enjoyed an Oakland Roots game under the lights.... a thrilling 5 goal game at that!

But the best part was the halftime show when our players took the field!

Thank you to all of the families that represented the BUSC family at this event!

BUSC HOSTS US SOCCER "C LICENSE" COURSE

BUSC had the pleasure of hosting a US Soccer C License Course.

The course focus is on getting coaches to think about, discuss, and recognize the recurring concepts or themes that exist in soccer. Candidates will be challenged to find ways to offer constructive guidance to players while also allowing players to experience the game for themselves.

Ballistics very own Oscar Inclan took part in this class. "I am happy to be continuing my coaching education. This will not only help me become a better coach, but also help better develop all of the players on my team."
