Hello, BUSC! The BUSC Fall Classic tournament was a huge success! With nearly 140 teams attending!

Huge shout out to all of our staff, coaches, managers and volunteers who all dedicate their time and resources to making this tournament happen!

Tevin Jones, Director of Club Operations, tevinjones@busc.org

Kevin Crow, Technical Director, kevincrow@busc.org

One of the goals for the Ballistic United Soccer Club has always been to create the best possible learning environment for the players to be able grow, both as a player and as a person.

In order to provide the best path for the players to develop is to put the best staff in place to guide the players as they move through the program.

"The club has always prioritized and has been successful building a very experienced technical staff,” said Kevin Crow, the Executive Director of Ballistic. “I would rank our current staff as one of the top youth soccer club staffs in the country.”

We feel we have succeeded in that area and wanted to share some of the accomplishments of our talented staff!

Monthly Staff Highlight - Jerry Losson

USYS LEAGUE AMERICA FESTIVAL

USYS League America Festival hosted on Oct. 28-29 fosters stimulation and excitement about soccer in an effort to increase the recreational players interest in and love for the game.

The USYS League America Festival, formerly United Cup, in collaboration with Pleasanton RAGE Girls Soccer club and Ballistic United Soccer Club, aim to provide recreational youth soccer players an opportunity to experience a consistent and high-quality statewide tournament in a fun, family-like atmosphere. We want the recreational player to feel special and have fun! The League America Festival gives US Youth Soccer State Associations another benefit to bring even more service to current members and a tool to use in increasing membership enrollment. All BUSC Rec teams from U9-U14 will participate in this event.

PLEASANTON ADULT SOCCER LEAGUE

PASS.....It's not just about the Soccer, it's a Community!!

The Pleasanton Adult Soccer League has been around for more than over 50 years. Given any Sunday during the Fall or Spring seasons, you see many groups of people sitting around hanging out after their soccer games. Some days they BBQ and play volleyball as well, especially after the last game of the season.

Last season the league had a fundraiser out at the fields for a former player, Rob Reid, who had passed away from cancer. They raised $3,000 from an auction and had a Celebration of Life. Rob grew up playing in the BUSC league and later in life played in the PASS League.

Last Tuesday the league decided to get a few teams to play trivia at Bottle Taps. They managed to get 4 teams of 8 and had players from 5 different teams from the league. It was a lot of fun and good to have players from different teams get together.

The PASS League is always looking for new people and accepts players of all skill levels. If interested please contact Angela Woodward... angwoodward@comcast.net
