Dear BUSC Families and Supporters,

We want to wish you and your families a happy holiday season and rest during the winter break from soccer. We hope that our whole BUSC community can spend time with family and friends during this break.

One of the goals for the Ballistic United Soccer Club has always been to create the best possible learning environment for the players to be able grow, both as a player and as a person.

In order to provide the best path for the players to develop is to put the best staff in place to guide the players as they move through the program.

"The club has always prioritized and has been successful building a very experienced technical staff,” said Kevin Crow, the Executive Director of Ballistic. “I would rank our current staff as one of the top youth soccer club staffs in the country.”



We feel we have succeeded in that area and wanted to share some of the accomplishments of our talented staff!

Carlos is a former professional football player with 30 years of coaching at the youth, professional and National Team level.

He is passionate about developing young talent the right way, with great emphasis on the technical side of the game.

He is also certified as a personal trainer, allowing his focus to also be on the physical development of the football player.

The Amador Valley Scholarships, Inc. was started in 1965 when a group of

educators and business people got together for the purpose of raising money

for scholarships for graduating seniors from Amador, Foothill and Village.

In 2010, BUSC started the Erik Jon Lemoine Scholarship in honor of an

outstanding former player who passed away after a long battle with cancer.

The Lemoine family has been a long time member and passionate supporter of

Ballistic United and the game of soccer that is played here in Pleasanton.

Each year, Ballistic United and the Lemoine family provide scholarships a

deserving individual. Recipients must reside in Pleasanton, attend and play

soccer at either local high school, be a senior, and have played their youth

soccer careers extensively at BUSC!

BUSC'S HOCKEY NIGHT OUT

The San Jose Sharks would like to invite BUSC to the SAP Center! Come enjoy the Sharks game on January 20th through this discounted link. Additionally, those in attendance will be receiving a Sharks themed Hawaiian shirt for our Summer in January game!

We're thrilled to share that our recent Leadership Course was a resounding success! The young participants not only had a blast but also gained valuable insights and skills that will serve them well both on and off the field. From team-building activities to leadership exercises, the course was designed to be both fun and educational. We're proud of their enthusiasm and commitment to personal growth. Stay tuned for more exciting opportunities as we continue to invest in the development of our soccer stars!

Registration is open for Friday recreational sessions for December and January. This is an excellent opportunity for players to continue to develop their soccer skills in the winter months. Sessions will be run by BUSC recreational staff and competitive staff.
