We hope you enjoyed your spring break from school and are ready to finish out the BUSC spring season strong. We have some very exciting information! We have officially opened registrations for Competitive Team Placements, MLS Next Tryouts, and Fall Rec Registration. All the information has been updated on the website www.busc.org. There, you can find the schedule for evaluations, coaching assignments and the registration links!

As always, the BUSC staff is ready to respond with any questions or concerns, so do not hesitate to reach out.

Sleep

Don't let insufficient sleep sideline your athlete! Recent studies reveal a shocking reality – teens need 8 to 10 hours of sleep, but over 70% fall short.

Sleep-deprived teens face heightened fatigue,

increased injury risks, and diminished cognitive function. Equip your athlete for success with sleep!

Tips:

• Strategic Napping. Short, well-timed naps (lasting no more than an hour and avoiding after 3 p.m.) can enhance alertness and mood without interfering with nighttime sleep.
• Sleep Hygiene. Ensure a dark, cool, and tranquil environment with limited electronics.
• Reduce Stressors. Implement stress-reduction strategies like mindfulness or yoga before bed.

Maximize potential by prioritizing rest!

It has been brought to our attention that many of our over 1,600 members are possibly business owners and that creating a Ballistic Business Owners group would be a valuable way for them to get to know one another, share the services their companies offer, and help one another possibly grow each other's business. 

We are thrilled to share that our first Business Owners Social on April 11 was a resounding success! Moving forward, we are excited to expand and enhance this opportunity for our members, fostering even greater connections and growth within our community. Let's build on this momentum together!

The BUSC U19 Premier team had a fantastic time combining a practice session with our BUSC U11 Elite 1 team. It was a rewarding experience for both groups as they shared skills and played together. The older players provided mentorship and encouragement to the younger ones, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the club. Overall, it was a fun and memorable session for everyone involved!!!
