BIA-LAV staff had the opportunity to join Board Member Tejon Ranch, on a tour of their future
Centennial
housing site and the land being set aside as open space. The tour was incredible and eye opening, staff definitely got more than they signed up for -- especially when helping remove trees from some of the dirt roads, thanks to a recent wind storm!

This week, Senior Director of Government Affairs, Christine Rangel, attended the Los Angeles, and the Ventura State of the City addresses. LA Mayor Eric Garcetti focused on streamlining action on homelessness by 2028, while Ventura Mayor Matt LaVere spoke about the importance of
housing
across all income levels.

BIA-LAV Director of Government Affairs, Diana Coronado, attended the Los Angeles County Regional Planning Commission meeting to make comments on the County's Inclusionary Zoning (IZ) Ordinance.
