Paid Fall Internships with the National Park Service

The University of Maryland has a partnership with the National Park Service to provide paid internships for UMD students. We have four paid internship positions available for the upcoming academic year, three of which require expertise outside the life sciences (i.e., GIS).

Students interested in the FBI Honors Internship Program 2024 or working with the FBI are highly encouraged to join this session!

Whether or not to disclose a disability to an employer is an important concern for many students. This workshop will help you to understand whether, when, and to whom it may be right for you to disclose a disability.

How to be Career Ready as a BIPOC Terp | 12-1:00pm

Are you a student who identifies as Black, Indigenous, Latinx, or a person of color? This workshop is designed to help you successfully navigate career readiness, potential challenges you may face, and developing the qualities to find a job or internship that fits your needs.

Interview Skills Workshop with USDA | 5-6:30pm

All majors are welcome! We will begin with an overview of interviewing and best practices for answering behavioral-based interview questions, and then break into small groups so you can practice with feedback from professionals.

This workshop will answer all of those questions and more. Students will receive an overview of all the steps that go into researching, applying for, and compiling a successful graduate school application in any given field.
