Since 1976, BRAC has brought competitive cycling to Coloradans who are passionate about bicycles, fitness, fun, and competition.

 

From National Championships to regional and local events, whether professional or amateur, BRAC organizes, supports and develops bike racing at every level and provides an outlet for people to get outside on their bikes and into the action.

Certification Courses
 
if you are planning to race either in Colorado Springs or  in Erie this summer and are new to the track you will need to take a certification course.  Both Velodromes run a series of courses and are coached by experienced coaches / riders who understand the sport and the importance of safety
 
Boulder Valley Velodrome is currently certifying their  Founding Members & Clubs.  The NEW rider certifications will begin in July.  If you are interested in taking classes at  Boulder Valley Velodrome

2014 COLORADO STATE TRACK CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Colorado State Track Cycling Championships will take place at the Boulder Valley Velodrome throughout the summer.  There are multiple dates for the MANY track events and classes - Juniors, Seniors & Masters.
State Championships will be promoted by Summit Cycling Productions. Click on the logo below for rules, eligibility & a calendar of events.

    


  

BOULDER VALLEY VELODROME UPDATE 

 

The racing program at the Boulder Valley Velodrome will begin in late July!   

 

The track itself is ready!  And many of the Member Clubs have already taken their initial laps....

 

But the support facilities must be completed before we can receive the go ahead from the Town of Erie to race at the new facility. 

 

Also there seems to be some confusion regarding the Certification Classes and the $250 fee.  The BVV Certification classes are mandatory for anyone that wants to train on the BVV.    

 

To race on the BVV you must have a valid USAC racing license and be an experienced track cyclist.  You do NOT need to take the course to race...IF you have track racing experience!

Please note that if you are a licensed, experienced track racer you do NOT have to complete the BVV Certification course to race!!
