Dear Beachwood Middle School Families,

I hope this week’s message finds you safe and warm. As a reminder, our second quarter will end on Friday, and grades will be posted in Infinite Campus on January 26.

This week, students at the middle and high school will participate in the launch of our district’s mental health awareness program. We are excited to partner with Erika’s Lighthouse to deliver the following program goals:

  • Raising awareness of good mental health.
  • Raising awareness of the signs of depression and risk and warning signs of suicide.
  • Reducing the stigma surrounding mental health issues.
  • Encouraging help-seeking skills and, if necessary, additional support service

More information about our Erika’s Lighthouse programming can be found below.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Sincerely,

Tony Srithai
