Message from the Principal |
Dear Beachwood Middle School Families,
Welcome back! I hope everyone enjoyed an energizing and rejuvenating spring break. As we dive back into our academic routines, I want to remind everyone that report card grades will be posted this Friday, April 5. This is an important moment for students to reflect on their progress and set new goals for the final quarter of the year. Please review grades with your child and celebrate their achievements.
Additionally, I want to bring your attention to two important upcoming events that will affect our school schedule next week. On Monday, April 8, all schools will be closed as Beachwood experiences the total solar eclipse. Furthermore, on Wednesday, April 10, we will be recognizing Eid al-Fitr, a significant religious holiday for many members of our community.
Lastly, students this month will begin state tests in English Language Arts, math, and science (for select students). These assessments are an important measure of student progress and provide valuable insight into their academic growth. I will send a separate email this week with detailed information regarding testing logistics.
I hope everyone has a wonderful week!
Sincerely,
Dr. Tony Srithai
Principal

Beachwood Neurodiversity Family Network Hosts Caregiver Support Group
Join the Beachwood Neurodiversity Family Network for a support group discussion on Sunday, April 14, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Beachwood High School Community Room. We will go around and share our recent “highs” and “lows” as well as anything else you would like to talk about. All are welcome, whether or not you identify as a neurodivergent family. Due to the sensitivity of the topics that may be discussed, as well as privacy concerns, this meeting is intended for adults only. This meeting will be held in person, but note that our May support group will be held virtually. Light refreshments will be provided.
