Message from the Principal

Dear Beachwood Middle School Families,

We’ve had an exciting week at Beachwood Middle School. I had the pleasure of attending the winter orchestra concert, which was an absolute delight. I am so impressed by the hard work and passion of our musicians. Thank you to our orchestra members, their families, and the entire music department for orchestrating such a memorable event.

Additionally, I am thrilled to announce the success of our recent “Coin War” fundraiser. Thanks to the coordination of the PTO and the generosity and enthusiasm of our students and staff, we far surpassed our $1,500 fundraising goal. The spirit of giving and unity demonstrated throughout this initiative is truly commendable. These funds will make a meaningful difference in supporting various school programs and initiatives. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this fantastic achievement!

I’d also like to congratulate all of our winter athletes and club members for their recent accomplishments. Whether you are bound for state tournaments or celebrating recent wins at regional competitions, we are proud of the many Bison accomplishments that our students have enjoyed these past few months. You will continue to find highlights in our newsletter.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Sincerely,

Dr. Tony Srithai

Principal

Classroom Spotlight: Will Cumpstone

Our students have recently completed both the badminton and deck tennis activities. We will begin the pickleball unit during the second week of March. During these units, we will develop students’ hand-eye coordination, team concepts, respect for individuals, reflexes and coordination as well as an awareness of technicality. Finally, all students will begin prepping for the Spring Fitness test battery, which takes place in late April.

She has qualified for the State Tournament in May. Over the course of the morning, Jenna wrote three original pieces of writing. There were three rounds of writing at the tournament. At the beginning of each session, Jenna received a new prompt. She had to think of and produce each story in that 40-minute time period. Congratulations Jenna! Best of luck at States!
