Stay Up to Date with BKR's Group Activities
If you have not done so already, we encourage you to join as many Groups as you like on the BKR website.
While you’re on the site, be sure to enable email notifications in your member profile by clicking “My BKR” in the top menu, “Settings” on the left, then the “Email” tab.
There, you can elect to receive email notifications for group posts, connection requests, and many other member activities.

Get Involved in Your Region's Recruitment/Retention Committee
In order to meet one of our strategic objectives, we are creating Recruitment/Retention Committees for each region. These committees will be chaired by each respective regional director. We are requesting 3-4 volunteer members from each region to join these committees.
Our goal will be to determine the specific locations where we need to focus, determine potential targets in those areas, look for warm introductions into these firms by existing members or contacts, and employ a couple of members in the actual recruitment phase, including meetings with prospects.
Ultimately, we want to create a Business Development Officer position (budgets allowing). The research we pull together in these committees will be of great assistance to this individual.

Eurofast Ltd (Lefkosia [Nicosia]) Welcomes Marilena Michaelidou as Regional Director and Board Member
Eurofast Ltd is excited to announce that Marilena Michaelidou has joined the firm as regional director and member of the board of directors.
Marilena brings extensive experience in finance, accounting, and payroll, with a strong academic background from the University of Kent and the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (FCCA). She also holds the Cysec Advanced Certificate.
Marilena's impressive career began at one of the Big 4 audit firms in Cyprus, followed by roles in banks and trading groups. She has significant experience in both Internal and Client Accounting. Prior to joining Eurofast, she served as head of finance for a group of companies and head of accounting for clients.

Harris and Trotter LLP (London) Digital Assets Raises $10 Million in Series A Round Led by Orbs
Harris and Trotter Digital Assets has finalized a $10 million funding round, marking a significant stride towards tackling a problem that all Web3 projects face: accounting. Orbs led the round, which included investments from Kingsway Capital, RE7 Capital, and other prominent individuals from the Web3 community. The funding was structured as a priced equity round, valuing Harris and Trotter Digital Assets at $85 million.
The Harris and Trotter Digital Asset executive team draws on a wealth of experience from alums at major accountancy firms, including PwC, KPMG, Deloitte, EY, and BDO. The entire team totals over 45 members.
“Digital Assets is a rapidly evolving technological space whose needs can only be met by an equally technologically enabled professional services firm.
