The content of this newsletter is an indication of the positive impact we're beginning to feel following the fantastic news that the Crown Works Studios plans have been approved. From local drivers to documentary-makers, the ripple effect the film and TV studios will create on the regional economy cannot be underestimated. Not only will the studios put the region on the map as an international centre for broadcast and film production, but it will very quickly develop an ecosystem on a scale not seen since Nissan's investment in Sunderland in the 1980s.
