"Conversations with Purpose"
BHGH of Arizona was selected to participate in a new project funded by the John Templeton Foundation, called “Accelerating Youth Character Development by Leveraging the Power of Youth Peer Groups”. This is a three-year initiative to develop new knowledge in the youth development field, focused on the peer-to-peer impact on goal-setting success, curiosity, purpose, and perseverance.
In the first year, a group of our scholars have been selected to serve as Research Fellows. They will be participating in a series of virtual focus group conversations with peers, alumni, and leaders from our affiliate, scholars from four other affiliates, Boys Hope Girls Hope Network Headquarters (NHQ), and the university researchers from Clemson University. Their input will guide new programming for the organization.
The John Templeton Foundation is a highly esteemed international foundation focused on catalyzing discoveries that contribute to human development. NHQ has shared that this collaboration "will support a key driver of Boys Hope Girls Hope’s strategic plan to scale impact".
