"The 2021 Mâcon-Villages from Maison Joseph Drouhin is a lovely example of the vintage, with a vibrant and precise bouquet of lemon, pear, a touch of fresh pineapple, chalky, toasty soil tones, spring flowers and a topnote of orange zest. On the palate the wine is bright, full-bodied, focused and zesty, with a good core, fine soil undertow and lift and a long, wide open and bouncy finish. This is quite lovely. 2023-2030."
